SOPHIE MYERS
MUSIC PORTFOLIO

I am currently a full-time student, earning a Bachelor of Science in Music Composition and Sound for Film and Games at the University of Hertfordshire, from which I will graduate in 2027.

I’m a composer, and I find the most fulfilment in working on projects where I can collaborate with creators to bring their vision to life.

I am able to compose independently or work in a group, and I have honed project management and communication skills.

With a background in both digital and traditional art, I have an intrinsic understanding of the sacredness of a carefully crafted visual composition, and my goal is to achieve harmony between the visual and the auditory experience.

I have worked on student-animated shorts, one of which I was the sole composer for and another as an assistant composer. I additionally acted as lead communicator and project manager for both.

Neither project is widely released yet and cannot currently be published. If you are interested in viewing either film, don't hesitate to get in touch with me.

I also have experience working for non-visual formats and am comfortable using my skills to tell a story without a visual aid. Most of my work is done 'out of the box' in Logic, although I have experience using Pro Tools.
